Founded in 2015

Jess Legge and Kimberly Lexow were masters of the 9-to-5 at a high-growth tech start-up and they had one question: "Can the work lunch be better?” Imagining an office where team members want to stick around and share a table of inspired food, Jess + Kimberly founded Sifted in 2015. 

Today, Sifted is an unlikely food tech startup -- one that hasn't burned through millions in funding or chased empty goals. We aren't where we are because of large advertising budgets. We're here because we share a passion to connect employees through engaging experiences, regardless of their location.

We believe it’s possible to satisfy a diverse group while minimizing food waste and our collective environmental footprint.

    We offer unlimited vacation for all salaried team members and two weeks of vacation per year for all full-time hourly team members. Part-time team members receive 24 hours or 3 days of PTO.

    After one year of employment, all full-time employees are eligible for our parental leave benefits, including 12 weeks fully paid for maternity leave and 4 weeks fully paid for paternity leave following the birth of an employee’s child or the placement of a child in connection with adoption or foster care.
